The Phillips Backyard Music Festival 2026 is set to return to Victoria, British Columbia from July 10 to 12, bringing a three day lineup that blends major headliners with emerging Canadian and local talent.
This year’s festival is anchored by a mix of established and genre crossing artists. Chance The Rapper headlines the opening night, while Father John Misty brings his indie rock presence to Saturday. Modest Mouse closes the weekend on Sunday.
Beyond the headliners, the lineup includes a range of standout acts. Sudan Archives returns to British Columbia with her blend of R and B and electronic violin. Wolf Parade adds a dose of Canadian indie rock, while Duckwrth is known for his high energy live performances. Jon and Roy bring their west coast indie folk sound, and Victoria artist Sophia Stel appears as part of the local representation.
Organizers have confirmed several updates to the festival layout and experience for 2026. The event will take place across an expanded site, with the raised stage returning to improve sightlines.
The Music BC stage will also return after its debut in 2025, continuing to highlight artists from across the province. Additional performers for that stage are expected to be announced later this spring.
Other on site elements include food and drink vendors, games, sponsor activations and scheduled programming throughout the day.
