Featuring support from Dark Chapel and Zakk Sabbath, the night was a full-scale celebration of heavy metal—from classic influences to modern intensity. Dark Chapel
Opening the night, Dark Chapel set the tone with a powerful heavy metal performance. Fronted by Dario Lorina—also a member of Black Label Society—the band brought a familiar yet distinct energy to the stage. Their set featured long, immersive songs packed with intricate structure and intensity.
The standout element was the guitar work, with Lorina delivering super long and absolutely crazy solos that commanded the crowd’s attention. Zakk Sabbath
Next up was Zakk Sabbath, led by Zakk Wylde, known for his history playing with Ozzy Osbourne. This three-piece band delivered a set packed with some of the best songs from Black Sabbath, bringing a nostalgic yet explosive energy to Montréal.
The crowd was packed tightly—like sardines—as fans soaked in the iconic sound associated with Ozzy Osbourne. The stage was dominated by a massive wall of speakers, amplifying the already overwhelming sound. Crowd surfing reached another level—so intense that photographers were even kicked out early from the photo pit.
For longtime fans, the night carried a sense of nostalgia. Seeing Black Label Society again—especially after earlier arena tours like their 2012 run with Protest the Hero—highlighted how far the band and its audience have come.
