Alex Warren in Anaheim

Alex Warren’s sold-out show at the House of Blues in Anaheim felt less like a concert and more like a big, chaotic, emotional hangout with a thousand of his closest fans. From the start, he made it clear this wasn’t just another stop on a tour, he literally handed out chips and guac to the fans waiting in line before doors even opened which in my opinion is a testament to how much he truly cares about his fans.

Once Alex hit the stage, the place exploded. The crowd was loud, excited, and completely locked in from the first lyric. Alex kept the energy high and the vibe super personal. He spent time between songs reading signs fans had made, joking with people all throughout the crowd, and creating real, unfiltered moments that made the whole night feel special. You could tell he genuinely cared about connecting with the audience, not just performing for them.

One of the highlights of the night for me personally was him performing “You’re Gonna Be Alright Kid” which holds a very special place in my heart. Also his performance of Ordinary was anything but ordinary. The song already carries a ton of emotion, but halfway through, confetti cannons went off and filled the room with color. It was one of those moments where everyone kind of looked around like, “Did that really just happen?” while absolutely sobbing. It turned a heartfelt track into a full-blown celebration, and the crowd went absolutely wild.

Musically, Alex sounded phenomenal. His live voice sounds even better live, and the band was on the same wave length, keeping the energy flowing smoothly from one song to the next. But it wasn’t just about the setlist, it was about the little things. The way he looked fans in the eye, the way he paused to take in the moment, the way he made the entire room feel like they were part of something bigger than just a show.

By the end of the night, it was obvious why the place was packed wall to wall. Alex Warren isn’t just riding a wave of internet fame—he’s building a real connection with his audience, one show at a time. I’m grateful to have gotten the chance to photograph him before he starts selling out arenas. Anaheim showed up loud and proud, and Alex gave them a night full of emotion and laughter, that they won’t forget anytime soon
