The eager crowd welcomed Andrew Cushin onto the stage amid rapturous applause, as he kicked off with his first song ‘Let Me Give It To You’, sending the crowd wild, followed by ‘Comedown’. Fans were loving the vibe and sang along in top voice, creating an electric atmosphere at this iconic local venue from the get-go.

‘The crowd loved his question and answered with a massive ‘YES’ when he asked are you enjoying the songs?’ as he explained it was the first time playing them on tour.

The 22-year-old singer-songwriter’s songs about growing up in the 2000s make him a firm favorite amongst stars such as Louis Tomlinson and Noel Gallagher. A self-taught guitarist at age 16, writing his first song ‘Waiting For The Rain’, his musical talent is clear for all to see. Indeed this first written song sent the Carlisle crowd wild on just hearing the first few chords.

As the set neared its end, finishing with the hit song ‘The End’, the crowd still wanted more.  Their chants of Andrew Andrew Andrew brought him back to the stage, much to everyone’s delight. He finished off with ‘Memories’ and ‘Where’s My Family Gone’ before thanking the crowd and leaving to loud applause.

This was an incredible start to a tour that will see Andrew Cushin dazzle crowds across the UK, before wrapping it all up in his hometown of Newcastle on the 16th of December. Definitely one not to miss.
