BBNO$ in Brisbane Delivers a Wild Night of Energy, Humor, and Nonstop Hits!

Canadian born musician and viral online sensation, bbno$ (baby no money), recently brought his Internet Explorer Tour to Brisbane’s iconic Riverstage, located on the riverfront in the heart of the gorgeous Brisbane botanical gardens. Since 2021, bbno$ has gained massive success online by targeting his music and content towards mainly Gen Z and Millenial audiences through TikTok and Instagram.

His content consists of hilarious videos that vary from him cosplaying as popular online characters, from Hatsune Miku to Sonic the Hedgehog, and leaking confidential branded emails (often resulting in his losing the brand deal) with his latest track in the background to promote his music. Presented by Handsome Tours, bbno$ brought the sold out tour to five Australian cities across seven dates in November of 2025. Huge thanks to 23PR for having us along at the show!

Jungle Bobby Spreads Peace & Love During The Opening Slot

After a slight delay, small Canadian artist, Jungle Bobby, entered the stage in a rainbow suit and bright pink frock and opened the night with a flamboyant, uplifting performance, reminding me a lot of Dutch EDM artist, Joost Klein. He began his five song set with What The Funk’ and Go Up Right Now’, using the moments between songs to spread a message of peace and unity, urging the audience to put up their peace signs and spread love wherever they go.

Jungle Bobby expressed major gratitude to bbno$, whom Bobby described as one of his closest friends, for allowing him the opportunity to travel the world and bring his music to new audiences. Judging by the audience reaction to Jungle Bobby’s electrifying and infectiously chaotic performance, he earned himself more than just a few fans that night.

bbno$ Finally Arrives After Much Anticipation

When the time ticked over to 8:15pm, the lights went dim and the stage background lit up with a video montage of multiple YouTubers trying to pronounce his name, which is where the infamous bibinos nickname came from. The video followed up with another montage of clips, this time of bbno$ doing all sorts of ridiculous activities from peeing in a public bush to twerking while the camera zoomed in, while dramatic music played in the background leading up to a crescendo. This started the night out right as the audience couldn’t contain their laughter before the artist had even entered the stage.

Before long, bbno$ himself was introduced to the stage before he ran out and immediately opened the night with the iconic track, ‘it boy’. Donning a pair of rainbow tie dye pants and an iconic Internet Explorer belt, bbno$ bolted to each side of the stage while waving at his audience as song lyrics and other visuals flashed in the background. During the moments between his tracks, he remarked at how grateful he was to sell out such a massive venue on the other side of the world, and how he never dreamed that he would be playing to a crowd that massive outside of his home country. As he performed the second and third songs of the night ‘nursery’ and ‘yezzir’, his energy did not falter, using certain moments between lyrics to reach out from the stage toward his audience and interact with gifts and costumes.

Closing

Although I wasn’t able to stay for the full set due to venue restrictions, the short time I spent in the photo pit was more than enough to understand why bbno$ has cultivated such a loyal and invested fanbase. He performs like someone deeply aware of the community that surrounds his music. Even from those first few songs, it was clear that he wasn’t only putting on a show, he was creating a space where people could feel seen and celebrated for being the true, raw, and authentic versions of themselves. If there’s one thing to take away from the night, it’s that bbno$ performs with his heart and soul. He brings a sense of intimacy to rooms of every size, and his audience meets him there eagerly. For many people in that crowd, the show felt like a place to belong, even if just for an hour or two.
