Chayce Beckham in Ottawa: A Night of Pure Talent

My first night out for the new year was to catch Chayce Beckham in Ottawa. In support of the release of Bad For Me, Chayce was making his way across the Canadian leg of his tour, with Gareth along for the ride. Not only did I get to experience the live show, but I also had the opportunity to sit down with Chayce and talk about his music, his journey, and what makes him tick.

Gareth Sets the Stage

Opening the night, hailing from across the pond in a place most of us had never heard of (Castlederg), Gareth took the stage with just his guitar and a backup guitarist by his side. His powerful voice instantly drew in the crowd, making a lasting impression on the audience. While his music was new to me, it was clear from the crowd’s reaction that he had a dedicated following. Fans sang along to the lyrics, creating an electric atmosphere that perfectly set the tone for the rest of the night.

Chayce Beckham Takes the Spotlight

After a quick stage change, Chayce hit the stage to an eruption of cheers. The setup was simple yet effective, complementing the raw and authentic energy he brought to his performance. Having spoken to him earlier, I had an idea of what to expect, and he did not disappoint. While he may not have the wild energy of some artists, his presence is undeniable, and his powerful vocals command attention.

Chayce played through a setlist that had something for everyone. From heartfelt ballads to upbeat anthems, he showcased his versatility and storytelling ability. My personal favorite came early in the set with Keeping Me Up All Night – who doesn’t love a good love song? The audience was fully engaged, singing along and hanging on to every lyric.

More Than Just a Show

Chayce Beckham in Ottawa wasn’t just a concert – it was an experience. The warm atmosphere, incredible music, and down-to-earth nature of the artist made it a night to remember. Chayce shared how much fun he’s been having in Canada, and judging by the response from the crowd, the feeling is mutual. As a longtime fan, getting the chance to hang out and see his performance live only solidified my appreciation for his artistry. Here’s hoping we see him back in Ottawa again soon!
