Gipsy Kings In Vancouver was a full-blown celebration of legacy and rhythm. Nicolas Reyes, the last original member of the group, carried his brothers’ spirit with him as he took the stage. Their signature “Rumba Flamenca,” blending Spanish pop, salsa, rumba catalana, and flamenco, had Vancouver audiences out of their seats and moving as if the plaza had turned into a dance floor.
The night began with one of the bandmates introducing the man everyone came to see, Nicolas Reyes.
