We Are Story Tellers

Isabel LaRosa in San Diego

The Observatory in San Diego was insane last night as Isabel LaRosa took the stage on a night that couldn’t have been more significant, the release day of her debut album, Raven. The timing gave the whole evening a special feel, like everyone in the room was a part of something intimate and momentous.

From the moment she stepped under the lights, there was this quiet confidence in her presence. She opened with “muse,” and it was clear right away that her vocals hit just as hard as they do in the studio. You could feel every pulse and beat drop deep in your chest.

LaRosa moved through her show with intention, mixing older fan favorites like “i’m yours” and “HAUNTED” with songs fresh off Raven, giving the crowd a taste of her full emotional range. Songs like “favorite” and “pray” hit with a new kind of intensity live, giving vulnerable and fierce at the same time.

What stood out the most was how dialed-in her fans were. Everyone knew the words, even to some of the brand-new songs. People weren’t just dancing and singing, they were connecting. Isabel has a special way of writing songs that really make you feel something. You could see it in their faces during the quiet breakdowns, in the way the crowd sang back the softest lyrics without missing a word.

Visually, the show matched her sound perfectly. Shadowy lighting and smoke effects added to the mood. It wasn’t overproduced, it felt perfect, like you were stepping into the world of “Raven” for the first time alongside her.

By the time she closed you could tell this wasn’t a typical album release show, it was personal and not to just the crowd but to Isabel LaRosa herself, like she was letting us into the darker corners of her mind and trusting us to sit with it.

For an artist still at the start of her career, Isabel LaRosa’s command of the stage, her sound, and her story is seriously impressive. Last night wasn’t just a concert, it was the beginning of something. This album will chart for sure and Isabel LaRosa is the next big star, I’m calling it now!
