Festival Firsts and Historic Moments
Lollapalooza 2025 is a year of major milestones:

More Than Music: Family, Community, and Culture
Lolla’s beloved Kidzapalooza, presented by Lifeway Kefir, invites families to enjoy kid-friendly performances, interactive activities, and dance workshops — free for children eight and under with a ticketed adult.
In an inspiring collaboration, Lollapalooza has partnered with the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras to unveil the 2025 lineup through classical-meets-contemporary performances. CYSO will also perform live at the festival, continuing Lolla’s tradition of uplifting local talent.
Beyond the stage, Lollapalooza 2025 reaffirms its commitment to arts education, community engagement, and sustainability:
The Lollapalooza Arts Education Fund contributes $2.2 million to support Chicago Public Schools.
Partnerships with local organizations like After School Matters and Yollocalli provide arts opportunities and job pathways.
Environmentally, Lolla leads the way with biodiesel generators, hybrid battery systems, free hydration stations, and expanded plant-based food options through Re:wild.
Global Reach and Local Impact
Since 2010, Lollapalooza has generated over $3.2 billion for Chicago’s economy and supported more than 25,000 jobs. In 2024 alone, it brought in $440 million, proving that the music isn’t the only thing that rocks.
