Ottawa Bluesfest 2025: A Celebration of Music, Legacy, and Star Power

OTTAWA, ONTARIO – February 25, 2025 – Ottawa Bluesfest 2025 is back and bigger than ever, marking its fourth decade with an electrifying lineup of global superstars and fan-favorite artists. From July 10 to July 20, the iconic festival will take over LeBreton Flats Park, bringing together music lovers for 11 days of unforgettable performances, diverse sounds, and an incredible festival atmosphere. Headliners this year include Lainey Wilson, HOZIER, TURNSTILE, Shania Twain, Def Leppard, Sean Paul, Green Day, Papa Roach, and Kaytranada.

A Legacy That Continues to Thrive

What started as a small blues festival in 1994 has now grown into one of Canada’s most anticipated music events. Executive Director Mark Monahan reflects on the journey: “When we first staged the Ottawa Bluesfest in 1994, the plan was simple: provide a great festival experience with top-notch production and the best acts available to us at the time. That formula has stood the test of time, and we’re still going strong thirty-plus years later.”

A Lineup for Every Music Fan

This year’s festival promises an exciting mix of genres, from country and rock to hip-hop and electronic beats. Fans can look forward to:

  • July 10: Lainey Wilson, The Red Clay Strays, Father John Misty, The Cat Empire, and more.

  • July 11: HOZIER, The Dead South, Charlotte Day Wilson, Sarah Harmer, and Amigo The Devil.

  • July 12: TURNSTILE, Pixies, Men I Trust, Kurt Vile & The Violators, and The Budos Band.

  • July 13: Shania Twain, Alan Doyle, Wild Rivers, Big Freedia, and The Paper Kites.

  • July 16: Def Leppard, Tom Morello, The Decemberists, and Reignwolf.

  • July 17: Sean Paul, G-Eazy, Peach Pit, Harry Manx, and Alicia Moffet.

  • July 18: Green Day, The Linda Lindas, Dwayne Gretzky, Fantastic Negrito, and Ron Sexsmith.

  • July 19: Papa Roach, Daughtry, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Lucius, and Bob Log III.

  • July 20: Kaytranada, BADBADNOTGOOD, Tim Baker, Lou Phelps, and Darren Kiely.

Beyond the headliners, festival-goers can explore a variety of performances across multiple stages, featuring emerging artists, local talent, and special showcases, including the Blues in the Schools Showcase and the Be In The Band Showcase.

Tickets and Festival Details

Tickets go on sale with a special one-day presale on February 26 from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., offering a limited number of Full Festival GA, VIP, and Platinum passes. Single-day General Admission & VIP tickets will be available starting February 27 at 10 a.m.

As always, all tickets include OC Transpo service to the festival, ensuring easy access for attendees. Prices are subject to change, so fans are encouraged to secure their passes early.
