Riverside Festival 2026 Marshmello and Excision Lead First Wave Announcement

Riverside Festival will return for its 13th edition on September 11 12 and 13 2026 at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau. Following a record breaking 2025 edition, which welcomed more than 17500 festivalgoers, the event is preparing for another year of electronic music programming on the banks of the Ottawa River.

First Headliners Announced

The festival has confirmed its first two major acts for 2026. Marshmello and Excision will headline the opening wave of programming, with additional international and local artists to be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets for Riverside Festival 2026 will go on sale April 16 at 11 AM.

Marshmello to Headline Friday September 11

Marshmello will open the festival on Friday September 11. Known globally as a leading figure in electronic music, he is one of the most streamed DJs and producers in the world. His catalogue includes collaborations with Selena Gomez, Khalid, Bastille and Juice WRLD.

He was Grammy nominated in 2022 and continues to blend electronic music with pop and hip hop influences. His live performances are known for high energy sets and wide audience appeal.

Excision to Close Festival on Sunday September 13

Excision will headline Sunday September 13. He is widely recognized as a defining figure in bass music and dubstep, with more than 17 years of experience performing internationally.

His productions and visual shows have built a large global following, with his catalogue reaching more than 2 billion streams worldwide.

Festival Vision and Community Growth

This announcement marks the start of the 2026 edition and continues momentum from 2025, which set new attendance records for the festival.
