The Blue Stones Rock a SOLD OUT Beanfield Theatre in Montreal with The Darcys

Montreal’s Beanfield Theatre was packed to the rafters last night as Canadian rock duo The Blue Stones headlined a SOLD OUT show that fans won’t soon forget. Touring in support of their latest album METRO, released in March 2025, the Windsor, Ontario natives brought high-octane energy and exceptional musicianship to the stage, proving once again why they’re one of Canada’s most exciting modern rock acts.

The Darcys

Opening the night were Toronto’s own The Darcys, a dynamic two-piece band reminiscent of Death From Above 1979. Their stage setup immediately set a unique tone—drummer and guitarist/vocalist standing side by side at the front of the stage, creating an intimate and equal presence. With the vocalist donning vintage ‘90s Kurt Cobain-style sunglasses and the guitarist casually swapping guitars mid-set from a nearby case, the vibe was less like a concert and more like a cozy living room jam session. The Darcys even took time to learn each fan’s name by having the crowd shout them out—an unforgettable touch that made everyone feel seen. Post-show, the duo met fans at the merch table, reinforcing their down-to-earth presence and authentic connection with the audience.

The Blue Stones

By the time The Blue Stones took the stage, the room was buzzing. With powerful vocals from Tarek Jafar and airtight rhythm from Justin Tessier, the set was a masterclass in modern indie blues-rock. Their new material from METROtranslated incredibly well live, showcasing introspective lyricism and relentless energy. It’s no surprise this tour has packed venues across North America.

For those lucky enough to grab tickets to this indie rock concert in Montreal, the night was more than a show—it was a celebration of Canadian rock talent at its finest.
