We Are Story Tellers
The Devil Wears Prada brought their tour to the House of Blues in Anaheim for a sold out night to remember!
Opening up the night was Greyhaven, Like Moths To Flames, SeeYouSpaceCowboy, and Silent Planet. All bands that put on performances that showcased why they were such a great addition to the lineup! There’s often times where the openers don’t get the crowd hyped like they should but every single one of these bands did their job and made the night even better. My personal favorite being Like Moths To Flames as I’ve been a fan of them for a long time but Greyhaven, Silent Planet, and SeeYouSpaceCowboy gained a new fan in me! They all have great music along with phenomenal stage presences and really know how to entertain a crowd.
The lights went dark and the intro started playing for the one and only The Devil Wears Prada and every person in attendance even all of us photographers in the pit were beyond excited for what was to come. The Devil Wears Prada opened up with “Mammoth” and the crowd went wild. Normally crowd surfers don’t start coming until a few songs in but they wasted no time when The Devil Wears Prada hit the stage, I’ve worked many shows and I’ve never seen so many crowd surfers before! The Devil Wears Prada knows their fans and utilized every inch of the stage, making sure to interact with them and keep them entertained. Their vocals live were insane and so was their stage presence. I caught myself singing along to all three songs while I was in the pit capturing their epic performance! Continuing out the night they performed some of their hit songs like “Chemical”, “Cancer”, “Ritual”, and closed out the night “Hey John, What’s Your Name Again?” with confetti cannons going off and filling the House of Blues. The Devil Wears Prada continues to prove why they are one of the greatest hardcore bands ever and that they still have so much left in the tank. This was a night that fans and myself will remember and reminisce on for a long time!
