We Are Story Tellers

The Future Lovers Tour live in Winnipeg

Last night we had The Beaches bringing their Future Lovers Tour to Winnipeg’s Burton Cummings Theatre and we had Brittany there to check it out. Find the review and her photo gallery from the night below! The Blue Stones kicked things off last night in Winnipeg with a bang. The Canadian rock duo based out of Windsor, Ontario had the crowd on their feet and did an excellent job getting them prepared for another Canadian favorite and our headliners, The Beaches. The band had high energy and the crowd was loving it. It’s been a few years since The Blue Stones have played in Winnipeg, the last time being at The Park Theatre in the heart of the trendy South Osborne neighborhood, and you could see their fans were just as happy to see them as they were to be on a new stage in our city.

Moving to our headliners of the night Canadian Rock Queens and this year’s Juno Award winners for Rock album of the year The Beaches. I am a huge fan so seeing this group again was an absolute delight. I was fortunate enough to see them the last time they came through right before the pandemic in 2020 and I am so happy they were able to reschedule their date here for this tour. Last night they opened their set with Late Night off their debut album and quickly jumped into their most recent EP playing one of their latest singles, Bad Behaviour. The lights, the outfits, the stage presence, and the music were all on point and there wasn’t a single person in the multi-level venue who wasn’t moving.

If you can check out these ladies on any of their remaining stops for this tour, I highly encourage you to do!
