We Are Story Tellers
Celebrating the release of their newest full-length, The Ghost Inside play what they proclaim to be their favorite show of the tour, Montreal QC at MTelus.
Opening the tour is Boston-based heavy metal band Great American Ghost. Haunting melodic choruses met with punishing guitar riffs, was a perfect ice breaker to wake up the crowd. Performing their newest single “Hymn of Decay” left a lasting impression on the crowd. Or maybe it was the vocalist Ethan Harrison being a force to be reckoned with as he joined the mosh pit to perform the song. Stream the new song here: https://bfan.link/hymn-of-decay
Next up was the Scottish metal powerhouse, Bleed from Within. The band is undeniable in their ability to get a crowd moving. Some of the most technical guitar playing of the tour package, and they do not miss a beat. Vocalist Scott Kennedy’s voice demanded energy from the crowd and Montreal did not disappoint.
Direct support slot was “the ones who put the holes in the Swiss cheese” (direct quote), Paleface Swiss. The 4-piece heaviness of the band was relentless. They had all of Montreal repeating the words of their songs. Zelli’s Spitfire hip-hop flows, met with brutal guttural screams brought a refreshing vibe to the tour.
Finally, The mighty The Ghost Inside takes the stage to bring Montreal on a journey of happiness, sadness, and nostalgia. Performing multiple new songs off of their newest LP “Searching for Solace”, the crowd seemed to love the new flavor the band brought just as much as the classics. Vocalist Johnathan Vigil praised fans for returning to see them after all the years and made Montreal feel valued. The perfect blend of melody and punishment, socially the band was the best they have ever sounded. Proving that nothing can stop The Ghost Inside.
