Your Ultimate Source for Music, Entertainment and Community
Turnstile has always been a band that thrives on chaos. From mosh pits and crowd surfing to inviting fans on stage, they know exactly how to work a crowd. Their sound blends punk and alternative influences, giving listeners plenty to explore within their discography. The anticipation surrounding the NEVER ENOUGH Tour was electric, and their stop in Columbus on Tuesday proved that Turnstile hasn’t lost any of their momentum. If anything, they’ve only grown louder, tighter, and more connected to their audience.
I had never seen Turnstile live before, but after discovering their music when NEVER ENOUGH was released, I quickly fell in love with everything about them. It’s easy to see why so many people feel the same way because they’re a band deeply committed to both their craft and their fans. The energy in the room was contagious, filled with chemistry on stage and constant interaction between the band and the crowd. Every song felt like a shared moment, and you could feel how much it meant to everyone there.
I loved how their setlist seamlessly moved between songs from the newest album and older releases, creating a show that truly offered something for everyone. Watching the younger kids in the crowd having the time of their lives was especially fun. It showed just how far Turnstile’s reach has grown over the years, and I couldn’t help but smile and think that I definitely wasn’t that cool at their age.
A live Turnstile show is definitely one you do not want to miss. The rest of the tour is taking them across the United States and to the UK and Europe, where you can find tickets here. I’m already looking forward to their Coachella return next year. It’s sure to be one of the standout sets of the festival!
