For the first time ever, the Horrorcore King Necro,was coming to town and we were certainly excited for this one. Unfortunately, Madchild had issues with the flight but the crowd still turned out to see the man himself.
The New York native and owner of Psycho+Logical-Records, has been a veteran in this game for more than 2 decades and still draws the love of his diehard fans across the board. He is the younger brother of rapper Ill Bill from LaCoka Nostra.
Local Openers for Necro
The Bourbon Room played host to another Diamond Mine Agency heavy hitting show. Some of Ottawa’s locals had the job to get the crowd into the mood.C-NOTE, TRIP, DRASTIK, NØONE and GOON filled out the roster for Ottawa and as the night went on, they certainly showed the crowd what Ottawa has to offer.
Mr Hyde
Necro brought along Mr. Hyde to help out the night and he set the stage for a killer night. If you love that old school sound you know you are in the right place. Necro and Mr. Hyde preformed tracks like Creepy Crawl and The Dispensation of Life and Death. In typical Necro fashion he called out for the King of the Pit and the crowd went nuts!

After the show the boys has their meet and greet upstairs. The most hardcore fans came out and got their pictures and autographs.
The end of the night it was an awesome show and it was amazing getting to spend some time with Necro and Mr. Hyde. It’s too bad Madchild didn’t get out to the show also but he already has a make-up date scheduled for the fans honoring their tickets as well as giving them access to another show if they wanted to attend. Can’t go wrong with free shows for sure.
