88Glam hit Ottawa and it was a hell of a night. Derek Wise and 88 Camino make up the Toronto duo and are quickly on the rise and making a name for themselves. We for sure had to be there to see the show.
Jarren Benton
Jarren Benton makes his way to Ottawa for the Yuck Fou Tour with help from Aaron Cohen. We wanted to be there for this one not only to snag some good eats from Midnights Cabin but to catch the caliber of performance that Jarren brings to stage. Certainly a show that was worth seeing thanks to Diamond Mine Agency.
Merkules & Friends
Merkules and his Canadian Tour hit Ottawa and he brought along a full line up with him. The west coast was invading and it was going to be nothing sort of a crazy night in the national capital.
Classified – Canadian Classics
Classified is back and this time with a lineup that would make any old school hip-hop fans day. The Diamond Mine Agency brought Classified and “The Canadian Classic Tour” to Barrymore’s and what a night it was. Maestro Fresh Wes and Choclair filled out the roster and brought some of Canada’s greats together under one roof and wow!
Fetty Wap
It was time for the main event and Fetty Wap was getting the nod and coming to Ottawa on his “Wayne Out Canadian Tour”. A pop culture craze, the man behind “1738” was set to make sure that Ottawa had a blast!
Insane Clown Posse
For the first time in their almost 30 year career, Insane Clown Posse will make their Ottawa debut here at the one and only Bourbon Room, to promote the 20th Anniversary of their album ‘The Great Milenko.’ They are bringing along fellow Detroit Native rapper Esham for this ride into insanity, while local hip hop group Creep Squad gets the nod to warm up the crowd as this carnivals opener. Are you down with the clown?
Joyner Lucas
Joyner Lucas had a stopover in Ottawa on his “I’m kind of a Big Deal Tour”. This one was set to be a night to remember since Joyner was gaining quite the name for himself having done work with Chris Brown and just releasing his track “I’m not a Racist”
Nelly
Come take a ride with Nelly on March 26th 2018 in Ottawa, as part of his ‘All Work No Play’ tour. He will be taking the stage at the Algonquin Commons Theatre so don’t miss your chance to feel nostalgic with one of the hottest hip hop artists from the 2000’s, and a career that has spanned almost 20 years. It may get “Hot in Herre”, so ensure you dress accordingly.
Necro
Necro – The King of Horrorcore Rap made his was to Canada for the first time in 10 years and first ever time here in Ottawa. The Fu©k Commercial Rap Tour was set to bring Necro and Madchild of Swollen Members on tour across the country to fight back for the underground rap scene. Unfortunately, Madchild missed the Ottawa date and will make it up at a later time.
T.I. – Us or Else
The man himself T.I. aka TIP Harris came to Ottawa and what an insane show. The Liquor Store bar was packed with so many people it was hard to move and even harder to breath but what a hell of a show.
